Type of Therapy
I am a Relational Integrative Psychotherapist, drawing extensively from Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and Existential Therapy.
About Me & How I Work
Hi, I’m Ayse. I work with individuals and couples. While my main focus is on relationship issues, I also have experience supporting clients through life transitions, divorce or separation, career challenges, addictions, anger issues, and crises arising from loss or change.
My approach to relationship issues is holistic; our way of relating to others, especially to our romantic partners, is deeply rooted in how we learned to ‘survive’ in this world. I also subscribe to the idea that the quality of our relationships directly affects the quality of our lives and majority of our issues stem from our relational blind spots. Together, we will take a journey to explore your patterns, where they come from, and how they impact your relationships.
I offer a collaborative, reflective approach to therapy, helping you make sense of your experiences and discover new ways of being. My practice is grounded in an understanding that every individual’s experience is unique - shaped by their history, relationships, and the meanings they ascribe to their world.
Working with me is about engaging in a dialogue. In that dialog the aim is to meet 'you', reconnect with your values and make meaning.

My Training
I completed my psychotherapy training and master's degree at Regent's University London. After spending the first two years studying Integrative Psychotherapy, I specialised in Existential Psychotherapy in my final year. I also added Relational Psychotherapy to my couple’s work. In my practice, I integrate Existential and Phenomenological thought with Relational Therapy.
As we walk this path together, my preference will be to work face-to-face, but when travel issues, journeys, etc. arise, we will also be able to meet online, ensuring the continuity of therapy. Our sessions will be weekly, on the same day and time, and will last 50 minutes for individuals.
With couples, depending on the issues, we can decide on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule.

I understand that choosing a therapist and reaching out could be difficult. I am happy to have an initial phone conversation before deciding to start therapy. In that call I will be able to answer your questions.
